Shimano 'Shyok' Fishing Competition, New mile stone on my fishing journey.

On Dec 2011, one of the biggest event of my fishing journey is joining the Shimano 'Shyok' Fishing Competition. This event just get me nervous almost about 1 months plus, no matter eat, shit, sleep also thinking about how to improve my skill. Well, I think this should be normal "symptons" for a newbies, who learn fishing half of the year and no one catch until this day.

I caught a 1.17kg Ikan Jelawat, also know as Ikan Sultan , also my first catch in my fishing journey.

Another Weekend, but still the same place again , beach at the end of "Tuas South Ave 8". Actually this places not hard to find, but due to wrong info and lead you to wrong way, beause this beach actual location is just beside the road "Tuas South Ave 4".

Ok, for this time I just want to have some little fun rather than big fish, some I pick some ultra light weight weapon for this time: 8ft prawn pole role, self tie small hook, fine line, soft lure (false worm)

Horrible small fish that always steal my bait, if your hook small enough , just put into the water than you can get it already.

What a beautiful weekend and as per usual, I still need to bring my wife entry singapore for working. Well, it won't be a sad weekend since recently I seach the internet and heard about this legendary beach at "Tuas basin road" or "End of Tuas south Ave 8", is that true? there is a beach in the middle of industrial area?
